When we are students it is not at all bad if we also try to learn from the things that are fun, after all kids should also enjoy their childhood at times being too serious and not having fun may also cause kids to get burnt out and thus would result them to hate studying.

There should always be a great balance between entertainment and educational fun, as long as there is time to have fun and study time. When you guide them well with not forgetting their responsibility to study after their fun time then there will be no problem. The important thing is once they have enjoyed their free time they should still a lot their time with doing their homework and their studies.
