The Engineer's Equipment
Effective engineers in Battlefield: Play4Free spend some time to understand their equipment. In addition to the standard primary weapon, secondary weapon, and tracer gun, Engineers have two special items: the repair unit and the RPG rocket launcher. The repair tool enables the Engineer to heal friendly vehicles; simply choose the tool, get up near an agreeable vehicle, and press the Fire button (the default may be the left sensitive mouse) to repair the automobile. If nothing seems to be happening if the Fire button is pressed, the automobile is probably going at its full armor capacity. Be aware that vehicles are repaired with a fairly slow rate, therefore it may take several seconds of repairing to bring a damaged vehicle look out onto full armor. Engineers can get training to improve the speed of which they repair vehicles. battlefield play4free funds generator
Even though you should always look out for friendly vehicles, be sure to watch out for enemies as well! As a possible Engineer, you represent your team's first line of defense against enemy vehicles, along with your job of taking them out is a crucial one. Other classes might be able to perform some harm to vehicles with frag grenades but they aren't nearly as quick or effective as the RPG. Upon sighting an attacker vehicle, your ideal course of action is always to (1) alert your teammates for the vehicle's presence by aiming your crosshairs at the vehicle then opening the communications menu and clicking the "spot" button; (2) select your tracer dart gun and tag the vehicle having a tracer dart in order that friendly rockets will home in around the target; and (3) fire a rocket on the vehicle, duck behind cover so that you can remain hidden from your driver with the vehicle, then come out and fire again once the RPG is reloaded. Of course, this is actually the ideal situation; in the event the vehicle is quite close and has spotted you already, it is best to not bother with tagging it, and simply try to destroy it as quickly as you can instead.
The RPG's long reload time quickly becomes agonizing when you've been spotted by a vehicle and you're hiding behind cover, waiting to reload. Make the most of any lulls in combat to ensure that both your RPG and tracer dart gun are reloaded so you aren't caught unprepared from the sudden appearance of your enemy vehicle. battlefield play4free funds generator
White Brackets Will be the Best Friend
As a possible Engineer, remember to be quick to respond to the white brackets that appear around an opponent vehicle that has been explained by a tracer dart. Should you spot a tagged vehicle, take a photo advertising online together with your RPG, even if it is a great distance away; simply aim into the sky across the vehicle to compensate for the distance. With more experience, you'll learn how to anticipate the trajectory your rockets will follow and you'll get better at hitting distant targets, both tagged and untagged. Do not be stingy with your own tracer darts, either - you have an unlimited availability of them, so there is no reason not to tag enemy vehicles unless you're already under fire. Tagging enemy vehicles helps another engineers on your team and also makes those targets much better to spot for friendly pilots in helicopters and planes. Helicopter pilots is going to be especially appreciative since they have particular rockets that home in on tagged vehicles, getting even heavy tanks with simply a couple of hits. battlefield play4free funds generator
