With digital photography you can see the image right then and if it isn't perfect, you could delete that image and begin again. This avoids the disappointment of losing a perfectly good pose due to focusing or direct exposure issues. Additionally you don't have to take extra shots simply to make sure one of these comes out the way you are expecting.

Digital photography has made photograph taking for both amateurs and also professionals simpler.
